Why Whole Food Plant-Based?

My journey into whole food plant-based cooking began when I realized the incredible impact our food choices have on our health, the environment, and the welfare of animals.

Five years ago, I started having severe heart problems  and high blood pressure. After becoming frustrated with Doctors and taking pills that only help with symptoms but not addressing the reason for my disease, I began my journey on learning about a Whole Food, Plant Based Diet.

I read the book “Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease by Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn “.  I was amazed by what I learneed.

Not only can we slow heart disease but we can reverse it. Changing to a whole food plant based diet has changed my life and it can change yours.
